Flexible polyurethane jacketed hose

Cable

Flexible polyurethane jacketed hose

QWPK

Appearance:
Flexible industrial polyurethane-jacketed cable (1 to 6 mm²)

Usage:
With very heavy mechanical loads, whereby cables are subject to very rough usage. QWPK is used in, among other things, the building industry, shipbuilding, road construction and other heavy applications. Because the outer jacket has great chemical resistance, the cables can also be used to connect wastewater pumps.

QWPK-afas
The same as QWPK, but armoured by galvanized steel wires and bare copper wires, with a counter spiral of galvanized steel belting around them.

Properties:

  • Extremely well able to take very heavy mechanical loads, thanks to the polyurethane jacket.
  • Immune to most oils, greases and chemicals.
  • Flexible in very high as well very low temperatures (-40 C° to +75 C°).
  • The outer jacked is easy to cut into.
  • Easily recognized because of the yellow jacket.
  • Well able to withstand weather influences, such as ozone.

*) Cables with yellow/green core are indicated with the letter G.
**) With the cable moving freely.
***) Static tensile strength. Even when used dynamically, when higher forces often occur, the stated tensile values should not be exceeded.
****) The listed permissible current applies to 1 cable in the open air, in accordance with NEN 3622 and NPR 3627, at a temperature of 30C°. With 4 or 5-core type the value for three live cores is shown. When the cable is being used in such a way that it can be touched (for instance to connect electric tools), table 8.52-C2 of the NEN 1010 fifth edition will apply in regards to the permissible current.
