QWPK
Appearance: Flexible industrial polyurethane-jacketed cable (1 to 6 mm²)
Usage: With very heavy mechanical loads, whereby cables are subject to very rough usage. QWPK is used in, among other things, the building industry, shipbuilding, road construction and other heavy applications. Because the outer jacket has great chemical resistance, the cables can also be used to connect wastewater pumps.
QWPK-afas The same as QWPK, but armoured by galvanized steel wires and bare copper wires, with a counter spiral of galvanized steel belting around them.
Properties:
- Extremely well able to take very heavy mechanical loads, thanks to the polyurethane jacket.
- Immune to most oils, greases and chemicals.
- Flexible in very high as well very low temperatures (-40 C° to +75 C°).
- The outer jacked is easy to cut into.
- Easily recognized because of the yellow jacket.
- Well able to withstand weather influences, such as ozone.
