The Megatiker® earth leakage module
The Megatiker® series of 63 – 630 Amperes can be supplied with an earth leakage module with an adjustable earth leak current of 0.03 Amperes to 3 Amperes.

The earth leakage modules are divided into three main categories:

• GE Electro-magnetic earth leakage module
• GS Electronic earth leakage module
• GL Electronic earth leakage module with LED display showing earth leakage current loss percentage

The electromagnetic GE version can be set for two sensitivities and can only be used with the automatic output devices of the MA/ME/MS type in the value of 63A.

The electronic GS-version can be set for several sensitivities as well as for a time delay factor. From 160 Amperes, these are equipped standard with an alarm contact to register the earthing failure. The GL-version comes with a microprocessor as an extra feature, as a result of which the current failure can be shown via an LED display. From 63 Amperes, these are equipped standard with an alarm contact to register the earthing failure.
All modules come with a test button, making it possible to test the earth leakage protection during nominal operation.

The whole Megatiker® series is produced in accordance with the international IEC 60947-2 standard as well as the national standards of most leading countries.
